We all have ideas of what our perfect life would be like, and in most cases it doesn’t involve being a wage slave and having to answer to a boss. It usually involves having the freedom to be and do whatever we want, and to have the money to make those things happen. There are a lot of programs online that promise to help you do these things; some are scams, some spout a lot of hot air but don’t deliver, and others give you all the tools and training you need to succeed – all you have to do is put it into action.
So, which of these is the Wealthy Affiliate University?
Thankfully (since I have shelled money out to join WAU) it’s the latter of those three options.
The main purpose of the Wealthy Affiliate University is to teach you how to make money online and build a successful business, whether you are interested in making a little bit of money while you stay at home to bring up your children or you’re looking for a full-time+ income so you can walk away from your day job and be your own boss, living the life you always dreamed of.
But Wealthy Affiliate goes beyond being just another online course. As well as a step-by-step process to get started and making money online, being a member comes with many other privileges:
- tools for creating websites, doing research, writing articles and more. Basically, the things you need to follow the course (it can be highly annoying when you pay for a membership and then have to keep spending out on tools to put the training into action)
- expert support throughout the whole process and for as long as you are a member (if you hit an obstacle they’ll be there to help you over it)
- a comprehensive forum (members of all levels and abilities sharing their experiences and supporting each other)
- 500+ tutorials and videos (once you finish basic training there is still lots more to learn and help you grow your business and your income further)
